Setúbal hosts science and technology marathon at ESTSetúbal with over 700 students

Starting tomorrow, the Setúbal School of Technology (ESTSetúbal/IPS) is hosting a science and technology marathon that will bring more than 700 students from schools in the region to campus. The initiative, which actively involves more than 70 teachers, is one of the largest of its kind organized by the School.

The program is marked by various practical activities designed to demystify engineering and technology. Throughout the visits, participants will have the opportunity to visit ESTSetúbal’s laboratories, where they can observe and take part in demonstrations of robotics , additive manufacturing, materials testing and renewable energies. The proximity to practice and the real working environment gives young people a concrete vision of what it means to study and develop technology in higher education.

We want young people to see, touch and experience the technology that is made here. Welcoming so many students and counting on the dedication of more than 70 teachers shows our commitment to inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists.

Science and Technology Week takes place at the ESTSetúbal facilities, on the IPS campus in Setúbal.
