Course objectives
The Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management trains professionals in the fields of Organizational Sciences and Information Systems (IS), highlighting both the Technological and the Organizational aspects, enabling students to perform the functions that the Information and Knowledge Society makes emerge in Organizations, aiming at their rapid integration into active life.
The course focuses, essentially, on the methods, concepts and practical applications of Information Systems in the labor market, providing students with skills for the conceptualization, design and implementation of Information Systems taking into account Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and basing these concepts on general management knowledge. Thus, the objective of the graduation is to train professionals in Information Systems Management capable of intervening in the areas of Information Systems and Information and Communication Technologies, comprising the functional areas of an Organization and society in general. -

Learning objectives and skills to be developed
The Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management provides a solid training in the area of Information Systems Management through the analysis and rationalization of information processes and circuits, optimizing information management and security through the use of new information and communication technologies, allowing access to a wide range of professional outlets.
The bachelor's degree syllabus is a current plan, lasting 3 years, with a flexible structure that allows the student to orient their curriculum, according to their interests and motivation, and respond to some needs of the specialization, either required for the exercise of their function, through the necessary adaptations and appropriate to evolutions or in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), or from the Society. The existence of a curricular internship in the study plan allows the student to be placed in a real work context in recognized organizations in the market, with the aim of applying and developing scientific, technical and professional skills. -

The Degree in Information Systems Management provides solid training in the field of Information Systems, enhancing the possibility of developing professional activities as Information Systems Managers and Technicians, Consultants in Information Systems Organizations, Specialists in Information Analysis and Management, Development of Information Systems, Product Managers in Information and Communication Technologies.
