Retail Management

    Course details

  • Course objectives

Retailers are currently facing major challenges. In addition to the profound disruption in the profile of the Consumer, who are now more informed, more connected and more demanding, they must rethink business models in order to maximize the use of resources, adopt innovative technologies and incorporate them into their operation in a differentiating way and, also, invest in the training of Human Capital, in its reconversion and updating of skills, to enable concrete support for this disruption, while facing increasing competition. Before the pandemic, Retail was, at an international level, an expanding industry, showing no indication of regression and E-commerce had already begun to strongly change the sector.
Post-pandemic, the most successful retailers will be those that connect with consumers in new ways by leaning on digital, omnichannel and in-store technology. Retail now enters the world of "phygital" – physical and digital worlds simultaneously, completely connected to each other. The urgency of investment in lifelong learning for the requalification of professionals in this sector justifies, to a large extent, the framework of CTeSP in Retail Management within the scope of the training of adult audiences.
