This postgraduate programme brings together experts and a highly qualified teaching staff to drive the sustainable development of supply chain professionals. With an approach that integrates multidisciplinary concepts, explores the latest trends and promotes digital literacy, the Postgraduate Course in Digital Supply Chain enables students to develop strategic and decision-making skills in the sector’s most crucial areas, preparing them to implement effective and innovative solutions in line with the new digital reality. The methodology adopted involved identifying the key stakeholders in this field, taking into account a benchmarking analysis with other programmes outside Portugal to enable the first comprehensive training programme in this area.

Learning objectives and skills to be developed

The postgraduate programme aims to develop valuable skills for roles in the field of Digital Supply Chain, namely: • Developing analytical skills geared towards informed decision-making in the digital supply chain; • Understanding and knowing how to implement, effectively and efficiently, a supply chain management strategy; • Understanding and utilising digital solutions that enable the monitoring and management of the supply chain; • Conducting studies to model and simulate supply chain systems; • Acquiring skills in teamwork and project management related to supply chain analysis and management; • Identifying and learning the latest innovative business practices within the functional area of supply chain management.
