Professional Technical Higher Education Courses in Smart Grids and Home Automation

    Degree details

  • Degree objectives

Smart grids and home automation, both at the service and residential levels, now play an essential role in the distribution and use of electricity by various types of consumers. These are subject to technological developments and may incorporate various types of equipment, namely systems with real-time electricity grid management capabilities, for the integration of decentralised production (essentially renewable energies), to guarantee energy quality, for the integration of electric vehicles, security systems and technical management. The Higher Professional Technical Course in Smart Grids and Home Automation (CTeSP REID) has a strong practical component, including a work placement at a renowned company in the region, which provides its trainees with the opportunity to develop and exercise skills in the area of smart grids and home automation, so that they can respond to a constantly evolving technological environment.
