Course objectives
The Physiotherapy degree programme at ESS-IPS has been Bologna-compliant since 2008. It uses a case-based learning model that promotes learning centred on the challenges of professional practice and the individual needs of the student. It prepares students for excellent practice, in accordance with international standards and profiles, namely those of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy and the Australian Standards for Physiotherapy. From the first year of the course, the student has the opportunity to learn in real professional practice contexts, in diverse and recognised clinical practice sites, and is also given the opportunity to learn in international contexts. You have the support of a highly qualified and recognised teaching staff, which contributes to a constructive learning environment. You also have the opportunity to learn in an academic spirit of mutual support between students from the same year, other years and other ESS courses. You are invited to collaborate in various extracurricular activities throughout the year, including research and community activities, contributing to the health and well-being of the population.
