  • Course objectives

The Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is a 4-year higher education course that aims to enable graduates to intervene autonomously or as part of multidisciplinary teams, designing or participating in decision-making about nursing and health care in order to respond, based on the best scientific evidence available at any given time and at the three levels of prevention, to the most diverse human health needs of individuals, families, groups and communities. The course is organised around an axis - ‘the nursing care relationship throughout the life cycle’ and respects international and national directives (European Union, International Council of Nursing, World Health Organisation, Order of Nurses). The training process is rigorous and dynamic and integrates and develops constant updating in order to ensure quality education/training using information technologies and innovative teaching-learning strategies. The education/training of future nurses takes place in a teaching environment that is characterised by promoting student autonomy and responsibility.
