Recognition of prior learning
Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

Admission requirements
The course is aimed at
a) Holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent in the areas of Technology or Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Electrotechnics or Mechanics, as well as graduates in the area of Health and Natural Sciences;
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process, by a State adhering to this Process;
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment to which they wish to be admitted;
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies by the Technical-Scientific Council to which they wish to be admitted.The information provided does not replace consultation of the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) website and/or the application page.
