Degree objectives
The Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering (LEI) at the Setúbal School of Technology is a modern, well-structured course that seeks to provide its students with a solid technical and scientific foundation, enabling them to analyse, design and develop high-level IT solutions in line with rapid technological developments. The high laboratory component in the course organisation also ensures that students can apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired to the specific activities of their professional profile. The LEI is divided into three areas of specialisation: Software Engineering (ES), Management Informatics (IG) and Industrial Informatics (II – currently suspended, no new admissions).

Learning objectives and skills to be developed
LEI seeks to train specialists who combine a good level of knowledge with a strong practical component, aiming at rapid integration into the job market. Its training programme was created so that students acquire their knowledge in a sequential, related and ultimately integrated manner, giving them a solid foundation that allows them to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies. Students' soft skills are developed through various team projects carried out throughout the course.

Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

Admission requirements
Entrance exams One of the following: 16 Maths 18 Portuguese or 10 Descriptive Geometry 16 Maths or 07 Physics and Chemistry 16 Maths Minimum marks Application grade: 100 points Entrance exams: 95 points Calculation formula Secondary school average: 50% Entrance exams: 50% Other forms of access:
