Degree objectives
The Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Marine Technologies (LTAM) consists of 30 semester-long courses (180 ECTS), taught over 6 semesters. The methodology used in creating the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Marine Technologies was based on the need to connect the environment and the sea to the region, taking into account not only the protection and conservation of the environment, but also the enhancement of activities and technologies associated with the sea. The course is practical in nature, with laboratory classes and field work, in order to prepare its graduates for the challenges of the job market. The course responds to Portugal's strategic commitment to the sea, which is conditional on the existence of qualified human resources to implement it.
