Technological advances have led to the development of small mobile devices with high processing power, as well as new wireless communication networks that are more efficient and consume less energy. Nowadays, communication capabilities are increasingly incorporated into everything, from sensors placed in environmental stations to refrigerators and televisions in homes. These objects communicate via the Internet, giving rise to the concept of the Internet of Things.

Learning objectives and skills to be developed

The main objective of the course is to provide students with the necessary skills to develop integrated solutions in the field of the Internet of Things. These include collecting data from the field, recording and processing it for monitoring and decision-making, and presenting it either through web interfaces or mobile applications.
