Learning objectives and skills to be developed
The course's main objective is to introduce participants to Lean thinking and equip them to understand and apply basic concepts, such as waste elimination, value-added identification, and value stream mapping. Specifically, the course aims for trainees to acquire:
- Knowledge of key Lean Manufacturing concepts, such as Kaizen, 5S, Just-In-Time, and waste elimination;
- Skills to identify and propose small improvements in work processes;
- Understanding of the Yellow Belt's role within an improvement team, particularly in supporting leaders of more complex projects (Green and Black Belts);
- Ability to work collaboratively in Lean teams, applying simple techniques to solve problems and optimize processes. -

Recognition of prior learning
- During the training, direct supervision will be carried out to ensure the active participation of trainees.
- To ensure the integrity of assessments, supervised practical exercises will be conducted in the classroom, with participant identity verification as needed. -
